Lee E. Brown, EdD, CSCS*D, FNSCA, FACSM Â -Â Â Dr. Lee Brown is a Professor in the Department of Kinesiology, California State University, Fullerton;Â Â He is author and coauthor of more than 150 professional journal articles and abstracts, editor of five books, 11 book chapters and a frequent presenter at conferences worldwide. Formerly a high school physical education teacher and coach of many sports, Brown now teaches advanced strength and conditioning courses and conducts research on high velocity exercise at California State University, Fullerton. He received his Doctorate from Florida Atlantic University and spent two years as director of the human performance laboratory at Arkansas State University. He is currently the President of the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Edward A. Winslow, MS, CSCS, USAWÂ is the Performance Coach/Internship Coordinator at Cris Carterâ€™s FAST program.Â Edward has worked in the speed, strength and conditioning field for over 8 years.Â During that time he has used his education and experience helping professional, collegiate, amateur and high school athletes excel in their sport.Â Â He received his B.S. in Exercise Physiology from Hofstra University, Long Island, NY, and completed his Masters in Science with a degree in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention from the California University of Pennsylvania.Â While receiving his education at Hofstra, he was an Intern/Assistant Strength Coach for Hofstra athletics, designing and implementing programs for Football, Golf, and X-Country.Â Edward continued his career at Towson University, Baltimore MD as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach heading the Baseball and Basketball Teams and assisting with all Towsonâ€™s 23 Division I Men and Women Teams, primarily football and Lacrosse.Â Â He developed innovative programs that provided accurate documentation of strength, flexibility, conditioning, plyometrics, agility, speed, nutrition and exercise technique.Â Edward joined Cris Carterâ€™s FAST Program in 2004 where he has trained and developed programs for many top athletes including Super Bowl Champs, NFL Draft Picks, World Champions, and Olympic Medalists.Â Edward is also the Internship Coordinator at FAST, providing the opportunity for Exercise Science students to utilize their academics with practical experience.
