Eric Broser has been involved in the fitness industry for over 20 years. He is an NGA natural professional bodybuilder and judge. He is a monthly columnist for both Muscular Development (“No Juice Bodybuilding”) and Iron Man (“Muscle In-Sites” and “Net Results”) magazine, and has had over 40 articles published on weight training. He is co-author of the book “Building the Perfect Beast Naturally,” and the pioneer of the POWER, REP RANGE, SHOCK and FIBER DAMAGE/FIBER SATURATION training methods, being used by bodybuilders all over the world. He will be featured on the cover of the October issue of Iron Man and is currently training Jenny Lynn, Ms. Figure Olympia for her 2008 title defense. Later this year he will be filming a DVD with Jenny, chronicling her the workouts she will be using to prepare for the show. Eric is also a sponsored VPX athlete and supports their line of products.
Dr. Jay Hoffman is Professor and Chair of the Department of Health and Exercise Science at The College of New Jerseyâ€™s.Â Dr. Hoffman was awarded the 2007 Outstanding Sport Scientist of the Year from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and received the 2005 Outstanding Kinesiology Professional Award from the Neag School of Education Alumni Society of the University of Connecticut. He is also the sports science advisor to Major League Baseball Strength Coaches.Â Dr. Hoffman has published more than 120 articles and chapters in peer-reviewed journals. His books Physiological Aspects of Sport Training and Performance and Norms for Fitness, Performance, and Health were published by Human Kinetics.Â Â A Practical Guide to Designing Resistance Training Programs and Total Fitness for Baseball were published by Coaches Choice.Â Further sharing his research and findings, Dr. Hoffman has lectured at more than 180 national and international conferences and meetings.
