Eric Broser has been involved in the health and fitness industry for over 20 years. He is an NGA and IFPA Drug Free Pro Bodybuilder. Eric has penned over 50 articles on training, supplements, and nutrition, which have appeared in such magazines as Iron Man, Muscular Development, Muscle Mag International, Human Muscle and Performance, UCW and Muscular Health and Performance Illustrated. Currently he is a monthly columnist and contributing author for Iron Man, Natural Muscle and Planet Muscle magazines, and has authored two books on the subject of rapid and effective physique transformation. Lynsey Beattie is an IFBB Figure professional and Fitness Model born in Liverpool, England. After spending time as a magician(!) and make-up artist/special effects consultant Lynsey attained a five year degree in Beauty Therapy. After working in salons as a therapist she took over a gym and started bodybuilding training, initially as an instructor then as a competitor. Following a series of successful competitions she took time off to raise her new twin babies and 15 year old son. Michael Ritter has been actively involved with the health and fitness field for 20 years. He has competed in power lifting and is a Natural Bodybuilding Champion. Michael holds a B.S. in Health and Physical Education and a M.S. in Educational Administration. He is currently a spokesperson for exercise and supplement companies including the Ab Coaster Exercise Company and GlycoCarn Supplements. When he isn’t training, he directs an anti-drug program for youth called Project PRIDE and was host for the documentary film “Be Smart – Choose Freedom.” Michael has also appeared in TV commercials for “Mr. Iz,” “Criminal Record,” “Choices,” “On the Job.”
Elaine Goodlad was introduced to power lifting by her husband, Terry. What followed included numerous NPC Figure and IFBB wins, including the 2004 California Pro Show. She has appeared in at least one magazine somewhere in the world every month since June 1998, including Flex (3 centerfolds), Oxygen (3 covers), Ironman, Muscle & Fitness and American Curves. She has been a professional hair stylist and makeup artist for over 20 years, working primarily in the fitness industry including NPC and IFBB contests. Chris Cander is a prolific freelance writer specializing in the areas of health, fitness, and nutrition. Her years as a fitness and bodybuilding competitor give her unique insights as a writer. Chris was named contributing writer to Oxygen magazine in 2001 and contributing editor to Clean Eating since the magazine’s debut issue in 2007. Most recently, she was named contributing writer to Maximum Fitness magazine. Jessica Hernandez is a 24 year old grad student at Colorado State University. She achieved a B.S. in Agricultural Business in 2006 and is working on her Master’s thesis in Agriculture and Resource Economics. She has been riding horses for 16 years, and competes in three-day events that are the equivalent to a human triathlon. In high school she played basketball and then in college got serious about weight lifting. Jessica loves to run and has completed in five marathons. Her current goal is to compete at the national level to earn her IFBB Pro Card. She recently placed 3rd in Class C at the 2007 Northern Colorado and won the VPX Meltdown Challenge.

Dr. Jay Hoffman is Professor and Chair of the Department of Health and Exercise Science at The College of New Jersey’s. Dr. Hoffman was awarded the 2007 Outstanding Sport Scientist of the Year from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and received the 2005 Outstanding Kinesiology Professional Award from the Neag School of Education Alumni Society of the University of Connecticut. He is also the sports science advisor to Major League Baseball Strength Coaches. Dr. Hoffman has published more than 120 articles and chapters in peer-reviewed journals. His books Physiological Aspects of Sport Training and Performance and Norms for Fitness, Performance, and Health were published by Human Kinetics.  A Practical Guide to Designing Resistance Training Programs and Total Fitness for Baseball were published by Coaches Choice. Further sharing his research and findings, Dr. Hoffman has lectured at more than 180 national and international conferences and meetings.
