Ginny Erwin, MS, RD, LDN, CPT received her B.S. in Nutrition Science and Dietetics from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her M.S. in Nutrition Communications and Marketing from Roosevelt University in Chicago. Ginny currently has her private practice in Boca Raton, FL where she provides nutrition and lifestyle intervention home visits called “Healthy House Calls” (going to clients” homes and assessing food and lifestyle choices and recommending healthy alternatives) in addition to her other nutrition and fitness services. She is affiliated with the Institute of Human Performance providing nutrition counseling to elite, college, and high school athletes. Most recently she has taken her culinary-nutrition experience into private and public kitchens, providing advice and formulating menus and recipes for special dietary needs. For more info click here.
Abbie E. Smith, M.S., CSCS, CISSN is a doctoral candidate at the University of Oklahoma where she co-coordinates the Metabolic and Body Composition Laboratory. She received her B.S. in Health and Exercise Science from Truman State University, and her Masters at the University of Oklahoma. Abbie is currently studying under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey R. Stout, where her research is focused on nutritional and training interventions to improve performance, general health and body composition. She has contributed to the scientific community at the NSCA and ACSM since 2005 and continues to share the latest research through her column in the Sports Nutrition Insider, scholastic books and through various peer-reviewed journals.
Corry Matthews, M.S. has been turning obstacles into triumphs since she lost her father at age seven. She earned a B.S. in Kinesiology at the University of Colorado and went on to attain an M.S. in Sports Medicine. After getting hooked on Fitness and Figure training she earned her NPC Pro Card in 2006 at the Team Universe Nationals with a perfect score in Figure. Corry has also founded Strength & Grace Fitness, a premiere personal training and nutrition company, co-owns the rights to three Max Muscle Sports Nutrition franchises and is co-founder of the Fit & Healthy Schools non-profit program. She is currently launching Corry Matthews Enterprises, Inc. and is a Level 3 Trainer at Gold’s Gym in Woodbridge, VA. Learn more
Christina Steel, B.S., CPT is an accomplished athlete, Exercise Physiologist, model, and co-owner of her own home personal training company. She is a fitness enthusiast establishing herself as an elite athlete in various sports such as swimming, cross country, triathlons, and an NPC Figure competitor. She received her B.S. in Exercise Physiology from Florida International University with additional courses in Athletic Training, Therapeutic Exercise, and Nutrition. Lori Kupferman, M.S., LDN, RD, CPT grew up on Long Island and attended Oneonta State College in upstate New York. There, she received her B.S. in Nutrition/Dietetics. After graduating from Oneonta, she attended Tufts University in Boston, MA, where she received her M.S. in Nutrition Issues and Food Policy. She next went to Tulane University in New Orleans and completed her internship to become a Registered Dietitian. Lori then went on to became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Council on Strength and Fitness based out of Miami, FL. She has been working in the nutrition field since 1996. Shoshana Pritzker is an up-and-coming name in the Sports Nutrition Industry. She grew up in Orlando, FL and moved to South Florida to pursue her degree in Dietetics and Nutrition.
