Jose Antonio, Ph.D. has earned a B.S. in Biology, an M.S. in Exercise Physiology and a Ph.D. in Muscle Physiology. He also completed a post-doctoral research fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism. After leaving academia Jose gained a position with nutrition products leader MET-Rx. Anna Lepeley, M.S., CSCS, CISSN is currently working on her Ph.D. with Touro University International. Her dissertation work will focus on ergogenic aid effects with females. As a former competitive and aggressive inline skater, up until her 20′s, and a passionate weightlifter since the age of 8, Anna’s active youth directed her straight into the realm of Exercise Physiology and Sports Nutrition. Anna received her M.S. in Exercise Physiology from Florida International University specializing in strength and conditioning. Abbie Smith, M.S., CSCS, CISSN is a doctoral candidate at the University of Oklahoma where she co-coordinates the Metabolic and Body Composition Laboratory. She received her B.S. in Health and Exercise Science from Truman State University, and her Masters at the University of Oklahoma. Abbie is currently studying under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey R. Stout, where her research is focused on nutritional and training interventions to improve performance, general health and body composition. Gina Lombardi, NSCA-CPT is one of the most sought after fitness experts in the entertainment business. Santi Aragon is 22 years old and is currently studying to become a firefighter. He holds six first place finishes in bodybuilding competition. He is a former Teenage and Collegiate National NPC champion. He has taken two years off from the competitive stage to focus on school work. This year he met his trainer and diet coach Yano Garcia out of Porky’s Gym in Kendall, Fl. He competed in the 2010 NPC Southern States, placing 1st in his welterweight class and 2nd in the Overall. He finished his season by making his men’s national debut at the USA Championship in Las Vegas placing 5th among over 20 competitors in his class. Rina Jakubowicz has been active in the field of yoga for more than ten years. Known in Miami as a teacher of teachers, her studios, Rina Yoga, continue to serve the community for the past five years. Brandon Marcello, Ph.D. is the Director of Sports Performance at Stanford University, where he oversees all aspects of athletic performance enhancement for the 35 intercollegiate sports. His previous accomplishments include serving as the Director of Human Performance for USA Softball for the 2006 Gold Medal World Championship team, 2007 Gold Medal Pan American team and the 2008 Silver Medal US Olympic Softball team.
