Show recorded Tuesday, December 18, 2007The Philadelphia Eagles defeat the rival NFC East Dallas Cowboys in Dallas, 10-6. It was a battle as both teams did some hard hitting, some dirty plays by Cowboys players, and the Cowboys offense just couldn’t click. The win was sweet for Eagles fans, but the remotest of hopes were dashed the following night when the Minnesota Vikings won their game, mathematically eliminating the Eagles from the playoff picture. We talk about the win, the disappointment of the season, and the on and off the field troubles by franchise QB Donovan McNabb.
Once again D.O. was joined by Dave Davis from Sabres Weekly and SabresWeekly.com to tackle all the tough issues in hockey today. Around the Boards welcomed John Buccigross, Sportscenter anchor and hockey analyst from ESPN, for a 20 minute chat in the second segment.
The Buffalo Bills season came to a crashing halt on Sunday as the Cleveland Browns beat them 8-0 in Blizzard like conditions. It was really a tough game to make heads or tails out of but D.O. and Matty tried their best to do so. It was a game that is fun to watch on TV but you don’t want your team to be playing in it. Stay tuned to the show as D.O. will sport a Cleveland Browns jersey in an upcoming show.
