John M. Berardi, Ph.D., CSCS earned a doctoral degree from the University of Western Ontario with a specialization in exercise biology and nutrient biochemistry. His research has focused on the interaction between nutrition, sports supplementation, and exercise performance. This research has led to the publication of eight scientific abstracts, 12 scientific papers and textbook chapters. He is currently the director of performance nutrition for a number of Canadian National and Olympic teams and athletes. Dr. Berardi and his company, Science Link, Inc. have one purpose: to take the latest in advanced nutrition research and teach it to others in a way that doesn’t take an advanced degree to figure out.
Hector Lopez, M.D. is co-founder of PPP (Physicians’ Pioneering Performance, LLC). PPP is a multi-specialty, interdisciplinary group of like-minded physicians who seek to seamlessly integrate musculoskeletal, spine and sports medicine, optimal aging, with rehabilitation, medical and performance nutrition, athletic performance, and fitness to accommodate the varied needs of a diverse population. PPP is collaborating with MyoTrend Nutritional Technologies (MNT) to educate and empower consumers in performance nutrition science and safety.
