He served a full career in the US Army holding many clinical positions, including research and publications in the area of Exercise Physiology and upon retirement continued service as a civil servant for several years. He currently works part-time in Urgent Care.
His passion for many years, has been the application of strength training to the elderly in order to improve function, pain, and overall health. He instituted a Physician-Prescribed Exercise Program (PPEP) for patients over-65 years of age at a major Army medical center which he supervised for 2 years.
