This past Saturday WTR, we were pleasantly surprized by the arrival of Stampede Wrestling’s #1 contender for the North American Heavyweight Title, “The Ravenous One”, Randy Meyers. Randy stayed for almost a full hour, talking the Independant wrestling scene, starting with the match he had this past Friday at the Bowness Sportsplex in Calgary, to new wrestlers to training and training camps, and about the fans of the sport. He also talked about the resurgance of Indy feds popping up all over Alberta and the problems that can cause. Randy also talks about women in pro wrestling!
As well, Randy touches on steriod use and the Congressional hearings that are upcoming, and he offers his opinion on wrestling and wrestlers being the focus of such scrutiny
In addition, of course we present This Week In Wrestling History and This Week in Sports History, our weekly NFL picks, and a quick and dirty discussion of Barry Bonds and his recent indictment. font>
