We welcome our special guests, the Sharkadina guys (Tyler Stoltenberg and Terry Cangelosi), who are big Washington Nationals fans that created the nickname of "The Shark" for Roger Bernadina of the Washington Nationals. Check them out in hour # 2. Also on the show we cover plenty of baseball, including what the heck is going on in Boston, and what the Red Sox should do about the Bobby V era out there. Then in the NBA the playoffs are coming! We get ready for it, as we wonder what sort of run Lebron is ready for with the pressure back on, how far can Carmelo Anthony carry the Knicks and who will stand up as the power house in the West. Also, Ron Artest/Metta World Peace is an absolute jerk and may have deserved more than a 7 game suspension. Then in the WWE we have Extreme Rules coming this Sunday, and Brock Lesnar will be returning to the ring. So what do we have to say about it? Check it all out, and action packed week with some Shark-itude coming your way.
On this episode of the Spurscast, Jeff Garcia and I got together last night to talk about the Utah Jazz win over the Phoenix Suns, which killed the Suns' playoff hopes and guaranteed the Jazz a spot in the playoffs.
We talked about what had to happen for the Jazz to move up, and barring the Jazz losing their last two games and the Jazz winning their last, the Jazz seem to be the odd-on favorite to be opening the first round against the San Antonio Spurs.
While we will have a full playoff preview podcast and several posts breaking down the Spurs' first round opponent starting soon here at Project Spurs, we gave out a quick primer on the Jazz and their big men.
