Tony Moya, Ph.D. is a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in sports medicine and knee and shoulder surgery. He completed his doctoral fellowship at Harvard University, receiving his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (Robert Wood Johnson Medical School). Dr. Moya completed his orthopaedic training at the University of Puerto Rico, and has a Masters and Doctoral degree in pharmacology from The Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. Dr. Moya is currently a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a member of the American Medical Association, a member of Broward County Medical Society, a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Senior Partner at the South Florida Institute of Sports Medicine. Joel Ballantyne is a high school track and cross country coach with enormous success in preparing athletes for championships. His girls cross country team has been ranked one of Broward County’s top five teams for two straight years, while qualifying for the state championships both years. He has helped bring the boys track program three straight district championships. He coaches privately during the summer for the USATF and AAU National Championships. Each high school athlete he has privately trained has qualified for the National Junior Olympics in sprints and distance events. Coach Ballantyne emphasizes not only periodization of training modules, but also proper nutrition in order to achieve the best performance at the right time.
Danny Salgado is a 16 year old high school track and field athlete training under the coach Joel Ballantyne. Danny competed in this summer’s Junior Olympic qualifiers where he won both state track and field meets for AAU and USATF. He also competed in the AAU Junior Olympic National Championships in Detroit, MI where he ran the 400 meter hurdles and placed 4th. Danny has been running hurdles for seven years and is currently ranked among the top five runners in the nation in 400 hurdles.

Sebastian Balcombe, BSE is the CEO of Athletic Edge Nutrition. Jessie Palmer balances being an IFBB Fitness Pro with being a new mother to a beautiful baby girl. Her amateur athletic achievements include being crowned 1994-1995 Colorado State Champion Gymnast. After joining the Performance Ready Team she went on to become the youngest IFBB Fitness Pro at only 23 years old after placing 1st in Figure Class E and 2nd in Fitness Class C at the 2005 Team Universe/National Figure Championships.

Phillip W. Harvey, Ph.D., RD, FACN, CNS is one of the world’s leading experts in nutritional biochemistry and has been involved in education, research and the nutritional industry for over 26 years. Dr. Harvey is Chief Scientific Officer for Max Muscle USA, a leading distributor of sports nutritional products. He heads the product development team, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, education and training. He is also the Science Editor of Max Sports and Fitness magazine and is an active member of numerous professional organizations including the American Society for Nutrition, Institute of Food Technologists and International Society for Sports Nutrition. Liza Kampstra started out competing in triathlons and adventure races but didn’t feel that she was achieving her personal best. Her running coach recommended trying something different, so she met with Carla Sanchez and joined the Performance Ready Team. Twelve weeks later she entered her first Figure competition and took 2nd place at the 2006 Colorado State Figure Championships. Later that year, she placed 2nd at the Carla Sanchez Fitness Fiesta. In 2007 she competed in four national shows with her best placing being 5th at the Jr. Nationals in Chicago. At the 2008 Jr. Nationals she took home a 2nd place trophy, and went on to achieve IFBB Pro status at the Team Universe in New York by coming in 2nd in Class B.
