Tom Myslinski – Strength & Conditioning Coach; Year with Browns: 2nd (1st as Strength and Conditioning Coach); Year in NFL: 2nd;Â Tom Myslinski was named strength and conditioning coach on Jan. 29, 2007.Â Myslinski is in his first season as head strength and conditioning coach and brings nearly ten years of experience to the Browns strength and conditioning program.Â Myslinski joins the Browns from the University of Pittsburgh, where he was recently appointed assistant strength and conditioning coach.Â Myslinski served the previous two seasons (2005-06) at Robert Morris University in a newly created position of head strength and conditioning coach responsible for developing and initiating the conditioning program for all 17 intercollegiate male and female varsity sports. Myslinski served three seasons with the Browns under former strength and conditioning coach Buddy Morris.Â Myslinski was a part-time assistant strength and conditioning coach in 2002 and 2003 seasons.Â He was elevated to assistant strength and conditioning coach for the 2004 season.Â While playing in the NFL, Myslinski served as a volunteer assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Pittsburgh from 1998-2001, where he worked primarily with offensive and defensive linemen. Prior to his stint at Pittsburgh, Myslinski spent 1996 as the volunteer head strength and conditioning coach at the University of North Florida, where he managed all aspects of physical and mental development with the schoolâ€™s student athletes. He has also served as a martial arts consultant to numerous collegiate athletic programs.Â Myslinski developed and patented the â€œTunch Punch Ladderâ€ hand agility pad and has trained extensively under offensive line guru, Tunch Ilkin, who is the developer of the Tunch Punch system, which is used extensively by offensive line coaches throughout the NFL.Â Mylinski was a fourth round draft selection in 1992 by the Dallas Cowboys, and played offensive line for nine seasons in the NFL for the Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers.Â Â Myslinski earned eight varsity letters at the University of Tennessee in football and track & field and earned first team All-SEC and honorable mention All-America honors in football in 1991.Â He started at guard for two consecutive SEC Championship teams (1989, 1990).Â He also was a member of the Volunteersâ€™ 1991 NCAA Champion track & field team.Â Â Myslinski was born Dec. 7, 1968 in Rome, N.Y.Â Myslinski earned a B.S. in kinesiology from Tennessee in 1992 and later earned a M.S. from the University of Pittsburgh in exercise physiology.Â Myslinski and his wife, Amy, have three children, Thomas, Emily and Michael and reside in Westlake, Ohio.Â

Dr. Douglas S. Kalman Ph.D., RD
Dr. Kalman is currently a Director in the Nutrition and Endocrinology Division of Miami Research Associates (MRA). He has been active within the sports nutrition community for more than 14 years. Dr. Kalman has worked with professional, collegiate and high-level amateur athletes in and outside of the United States.
He is the Past Chair of the Nutritionists in Complementary Care-DPG and is a Fellow of the American College of Nutrition; a Spokesperson for the American College of Sports Medicine and The National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Specialist (recertified with distinction) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. He has prepared elite football players for the NFL such as Andy Alleman of the New Orleans Saints, Jake Bender of the New York Jets, and Justise Hairston for the New England Patriots. He earned his BS in Sport & Exercise Science at SUNY Buffalo, and
his MS in Kinesiology at the University of Colorado.

Andrea Hudy joined the Kansas staff as Associate Director of Strength and Conditioning in September 2004. Hudy handles the strength and conditioning responsibilities for the University of Kansas Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams and Volleyball team. Hudy came to Kansas after nine and a half years at the University of Connecticut, where she worked closely with the Huskies’ National Champion Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams. In all, Hudy was part of eight national championship teams while at Connecticut – two men’s basketball; five women’s basketball; and one men’s soccer.
A native of Huntingdon, Pa., Hudy was a four-year letter winner in volleyball at Maryland where she graduated in 1994. Her freshman season at Maryland, she was a member of the 1990 Atlantic Coast Conference volleyball Championship Team. Hudy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at Maryland and her Masters of Arts degree in Sport Biomechanics from Connecticut. She is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a USAW Level I Coach.
